CRSJS Secretary Mr. R Jayachandran speaking at the Save Sharmila Solidarity Campaign function in Thiruvananathapuram, Kerala, in support of Ms. Irom Sharmila Chanu’s iconic twelve year old hunger strike demanding the withdrawal of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) from Manipur State.

CRSJS was the State Coordinator for Kerala for the Save Sharmila Solidarity Campaign. The then leader of Opposition, Kerala state, Mr. V S Achuthanandan (former Chief Minister) inaugurated the campaign at Gandhi Park, Thiruvananathapuram, the capital of Kerala State.
